Wild Wonder
So much is moving through this time and space. We are living through waves of uncertainty, grief, beauty, possibility, and profound change. A retreat to the ocean is not a departure from what is unfolding around us, nor is it an escape from the realities we face. Rather, it is an invitation to return—to our deepest, vibrant essence, to the vastness of the earth, to the rhythms of the sea, to the wisdom of our bodies, and to one another.
One of WildQuest’s most-experienced facilitators, Cheryl Schirillo, has co-created this week’s retreat with Michelle Cassandra Johnson. Using their skills as intuitive, shamanic healers they will guide you in practices that create opportunities to experience respite without disconnecting, to cultivate presence instead of urgency, and to return home with the rhythm of the waves, the playfulness of the dolphins, and the strength of community alive within us.
Each morning we’ll gather to practice yoga, meditation, and pranayama together. After breakfast we’ll circle up to share about our experiences with the dolphins and re-connect with them energetically to receive personal messages. We’ll head out on the boat at 11:30 am each day to swim with our wild dolphin friends. At night, we’ll bathe in the moonlight and continue to revel in the messages we receive from the ocean and her inhabitants.
This week of wild wonder will include:
- Spending each afternoon/early evening on the boat snorkeling with sea turtles, spotted rays, and colorful fish over shallow coral reefs, and of course – connecting and swimming with our wild dolphin friends as much as possible.
- Nourishing, delicious food cooked on site to beautifully accommodate everyone’s special dietary needs.
- Watching the sun rise over the water each morning and the moon rise each night from the dock of our waterfront accommodations.
- Moonlight strolls on the beach and naps in the hammock under the palm trees.
- Expert knowledge and complete support in the water by the WildQuest Crew.
