Spend a week in loving community, sensing and connecting with the ocean.
Mornings start with a contemplative yoga practice weaving meditation, mantra, movement, and asana. Simple flowing movements allow you to focus on subtle sensation and breath, laying the ground for the asana practice. Our cetacean friends are often described as the greatest listeners. Listening deeply to our bodies and to each other, we cultivate a spacious joyful awareness.
As we venture out each day to snorkel and to encounter the dolphins, Kathleen and the WildQuest crew support you to find your relaxed oceanic self. Loving guidance is offered for those who would like to become more aquatic, practicing diving beneath the surface or learning to move in an inviting easeful dance. The dolphins embody group flow and oneness while at the same time living their unique individuality. They respond when we do the same, flowing together as one pod in the water. It is a deep inspiration and joy that reaches into every aspect of life!
Evening meditation, sharing circles, talks about the dolphins and ecology, and additional sessions on breath and becoming aquatic, may be offered depending on the groups needs and desires. Everything is optional. Participate in the way that nurtures you.
Sitting on the bow of the boat seeing the dolphins looking up into your heart and soul, laughing with a new friend, or simply immersing in the sparkling blue waters, a space of total acceptance unfolds in and around us. It is a magical space to float, dive, dance and grow together. On the land and in the ocean, we can allow ourselves to simply be. Just as we are.

I first met the Bimini dolphins in 2003. At the time, I was living in New York City, performing with a professional dance company. Meeting them was life-changing. I am in my element in water and I fell completely in love with the blue water and the dolphins. I moved to Bimini a few years later and am currently based in south Bimini. The dolphins pulled me underwater into their world and over time have taught me so much. Now my dancing happens there. I have seen dear dolphin friends move through different phases of life; many we have known and interacted with for their entire lives. It is a precious relationship, always on their terms. In the countless hours I have spent looking for them and being with them in the water, they have taught me how to meet them; be patient, humble, grateful, to dive deep, to dance and play, and mostly they have helped me discover how to be human. I have experienced boundless joy and I am thrilled to share it all with you! It is my great pleasure to witness and facilitate human-dolphin meetings, and to see human groups grow together.
