There’s nothing like a mother’s touch - even i There’s nothing like a mother’s touch - even in the ocean 🐬🩵 In this tender moment, the dolphin mama gently nudges her calf to the surface, teaching, guiding and reassuring every step (or fin!) of the way. These early lessons are vital for the young calf’s survival as it learns to navigate the ocean. And… did you know dolphin calves stay close to the mother’s side for up to 6 years - some stay even longer! It’s such a privilege when the dolphins trust us enough to share these precious moments. Can you imagine witnessing a moment like this in real life?
